Our low cost nano-graphene platelets (NPGs) have the capability to form a thin film, paper or coating for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and electrostatic charge dissipation (ESD) applications. By exceeding the percolation threshold, NGPs are able to form a network of electron transport paths. The material demonstrates the highest thermal conductivity known today, five times that of copper. NGPs also provide electrical conductivity similar to copper yet the material’s density is four times lower, resulting in lighter weight components. NGPs can also be used as a thermal management layer in a densely-packed microelectronic device.
Because NGPs offer such a wide spectrum of properties, from highly conductive to dielectric, our nano graphene solutions are especially suited to EMI, ESD and radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding for telecommunications devices including mobile phones, computers and business machines.
